Fanjayas around the world will be pleased to know that Sanjaya Malakar is not about to vanish into obscurity. Word has it that he is coming with a debut album sometime in middle of 2009, three two years after he catapulted to fame as one of the most noticeable American Idol finalists.
Here is an original song, performed by Sanjaya, which could be the sound of things to come from his debut album. The performance was recorded at the Mohegun Sun Casino in New Haven, Connecticut on August 6.

Actually Sanjaya was on season 6 of American Idol. So I believe that would be one year since he catapulted into worldwide fame. You go Sanjaya!! Can’t wait to hear the album! I’m sure it will be pure Sanjaya

WOW,this guy,Sanjaya is really versatile ! He has more to offer than so many in the entertainment field . I wonder which film studio will sign him first? He sings,dances, acts, I read he is a great photographer and he writes music like this one.What a guy,what a standout performer !

He is certainly unique. I bet his album will stand out among the debutants… some people will disagree but I think he is a good singer. Not the Il Divo type of good singer, but good.
