Okay, so Keanu Reeves — Neo himself — has been photographed with earwax deposit in his ear.

Poor Keanu. But I don’t think he should feel disturbed by the incident with the earwax. I’ve seen the photo but I didn’t really see the protruding earwax, just the indication that it’s there.

But never mind, Keanu. No worries. By now you might have already removed it so that the next time you come face to face with them photographers, you can turn real slow and give them all the time to snap away at your ears. But if you haven’t, you have the time in the world to remove it, either by yourself or with the help of ear specialists near you.

It’s the weather, really

I guess, that is just the thing that comes with living in temperate weather. Due to the dry and cool weather, you won’t feel the wax building up until the paparazzi show you it’s there.

Unlike those living in dry and cool region, we — who live in the hot and humid tropical weather — we can feel the wax building up before one can actually see it. Due to the humid condition, the inside of our ears tend to be very itchy, oily and wet very quickly so we’d cotton-bud them every now and then, otherwise we won’t feel comfortable.

Even then, many of us, especially those living in poor regions and countries, are having problems with our ears, which are much worse than earwax buildup.
